Howdy! This site captures the happenings within our Old West roleplaying game. We needed a better place for players to look up old sessions and remind ourselves of the colorful personalities, characters and locations we run into. So here ya go.
It’s a work in progress. And so far, this section is the only place where rootin’, tootin’ readers get a peek behind the curtain.
Basics
Our group plays a game based on the d20 system called Snakes & Saloons. Anything not covered in the rules we make up as we go. By day, we’re iron men, lawyers, engineers, IT professionals and ad men. On Thursday nights, we ride.
We play our game via a popular digital virtual tabletop platform, Roll20. The platform includes a campaign forum, but it has limits. We ran out of space and couldn’t interconnect stories, maps and locations. WordPress is the steam engine of our times.
Stories
The stories are write-ups of what happened in gaming sessions. Though some of them are combinations a few nights of playing. For the most part, the stories are home brewed. Module adaptations are called out.
Some of the art for the game is nabbed from the internet. Now’s probably the time to say we aren’t trying to make any money with any of this content. Our game is private. And the audience of this site is a handful of interested and passionate players.
